Lee Zimmerman, aka The Puppet Guy, has been performing his rock and roll marionette show all over the world for more than 40 years.
From Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix to Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny, some of the greatest names in the history of music come alive in a unique and amazing display of humor and skill.
Originally from Los Angeles, Lee was a regular at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in Hollywood and had a featured show at the Universal Studios CityWalk Attraction that ran for more than 9 years.
In 2025, Lee performed with the Calgary Philharmonic in Canada, operating a life-sized dog marionette named Bella in their celebrated production of ''A Paintbrush for Piccolo.''
He's worked for dozens of TV shows and films, including ''Seinfeld'' and ''The Drew Carey Show'' as well as the cult film,
''The Life & Times of Eddy Presley'' with Quentin Tarantino.
He's done command performances for many celebrities and dignitaries such as the Sultan of Brunei, Hugh Hefner, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zappa and Guns 'N' Roses and in 2010, was given the Performer's Choice award at the Halifax International Buskers Festival.
Since 1998, Lee has been a performer/instructor at numerous Canadian circus camps, including the
Winnipeg International Children's Festival Circus and Magic Partnership,
(C.A.M.P.) a circus arts program designed to help kids-at-risk.
